Dec, 10,2006 DEKO-1408S Tune Up procedure The Micro-Repeater Deko-1408 has a single calibration rotary switch on the left side of the product as presented in fig.30 that enables setting the output power between 4 and 11dBm. Fig.30 – RF power selector rotary switch When taking the product out of its package, the default position of the rotary switch is on maximum output power (11dBm per band). After installing the product, in case of a good coverage, there is a possibility to reduce the output power down to 4dBm in steps of 1dB using the rotary switch. The rotary switch can be freely and easily rotated counter clockwise as well as clockwise. After reducing the output power it is recommended to verify a good reception on your cellular phone at the whole area, which the micro-repeater should cover. This procedure should be performed only once during the product installation.
