FCC ID: PKW-WAP11V26 After a review of the submitted information, I have a few comments on the above referenced Application. 1) The users manual mentions the use of shielded cables on page 31 of 31. Was the device tested with a shielded Ethernet cable? If not then the phrase "(example - use only shielded interface cables when connecting to computer or peripheral devices) " should be removed from the users manual. If shielded cables were used, then Installation sections of the manual should clearly point this out to the user. 2) The radiated data (based on the fundamental) is about 25 dB below the expected value given the power output and antenna gain of the unit. Please note that the data appears to show a preamp used for measurement of the fundamental. It is likely that the amplifier is going into compression or the device was not properly functioning. Please provide new test data for the fundamental. Also, please confirm the use of the preamp for measurements below the fundamental. Please explain. Timothy R. FCC ID: PKW-WAP11V26 ADT No.911024R05 Operational Description The transmitter of the EUT is powered by power adapter and connected with managing computer through RJ45 port. The antenna type is Dipole antenna with Reversed TNC connector. Under normal use condition, the user has to keep at least 20cm separation distance between radiator and the body of the user. The other instruction, please have a look at the users manual. DSSS Information This device is Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum, the data is mixed by pseudorandom code which is an orthogonal code. The mixed data is digital modulated by BPSK and QPSK technique depends on the data rates. The CCK coding is applied for increasing the data rate, and also the processing gain will be increased. The bit rates are 1,2,5.5,11Mbps, the symbol rates are 1,1,1.375,1.375Mbps, the chip rates are always 11Mbps. So, the Chip/symbol is 11,11,8 and 8 respectively. Although is higher bit rate, the processing gain is lower than 10, but the CCK coding used in higher bit rate will provide 2.2dB coding gain.

Introduction 2.4GHz frequency band is regarded specially as a dangerous band for its heating harmfulness to the human body. That’s why microwave oven is operating in this frequency band. In this document, we try to prove the safety of radiation harmfulness to the human body for our product. The limit for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) specified in FCC 1.1310 is followed. The Gain of the antenna used in this product is measured in a Fully Anechoic Chamber (FAC), and the maximum total power input to the antenna is measured. Through the Friis transmission formula and the maximum gain of the antenna, we can calculate the distance, away from the product, where the limit of MPE is reached. 2. Classification The antenna of the product, under normal use condition, is at least 20cm away from the body of the user. Warning statement for keeping 20cm separation distance and the prohibition of operating next to a person has been printed on the users manual. So, this product is classified as the Mobile Device. 3.
