For situations when multiple carrier signals are present, the rating would have to be reduced by 3.5 dB, especially where the output signal is re-radiated and can cause interference to adjacent band users. This power reduction is to be by means of input power or gain reduction and not by an attenuator at the output of the device. It is important to read through all of the installation steps for your particular application prior to installing any equipment. Read through the instructions, visualize where all the equipment will need to be installed and do a soft installation before mounting any equipment. Inside this Package • In-building wireless amplifi er • AC/DC 110 volt power supply Additional Required Equipment (sold separately) • Outside Yagi antenna • Inside dome, panel or low-profi le antenna • Antenna coax cable How it Works Wilson amplifi ers are small, portable, bi-directional devices that deliver service levels consistent with what would be expected in areas of high cell network coverage. They amplify a weak or shadowed signal in mobile, marine and in-building applications. When using a Wilson amplifi er in conjunction with Wilson antennas, the outside antenna will collect the cell tower signal and send it through the cable to the amplifi er. The signal is then amplifi ed and broadcast from the inside antenna to the surrounding area. Cell phones and cellular data cards in that area then communicate with the improved signal. When a cell phone or cellular device transmits, the signal is received by the inside antenna, amplifi ed by the amplifi er and broadcast back to the cell tower through the outside antenna. Please provide correct operating power Response: Please correct the 731 form to show 0.166 Watts. 2 Controller has an 8 MHz clock, which is not shown on the block diagram. Please provide a revised block diagram. Response: A revised block diagram has been uploaded. 3 Blockedge plots are not included in the test report. Please show compliance to meet block edge Response: Block edge and Intermodulation requirements are met simultaneously on the same plots. In this case, block edge emissions are met on spurious emissions data sheets. 4 The provided Antenna Conducted Emission data sets showed frequency range investigate: 30 MHz-10GHz, however the radiated spurious emission data sets shows 30kHz-10GHz. This meets the requirements of RSS-131. 3 RSS 131 Passband gain and bandwidth are defined with reference to the nominal gain of the amplifier. Please provide pass band gain plots with reference to the gain (dB) of an amplifier Response: I do not understand the purpose of this question (see response to item 2) 4 RSS131requires gain vs frequency plot of up to at least 250% of the 20dB bandwidth. Please prove plots to satisfy the requirement Response: The passband width was measured as 40MHz. The span used on the plots provided is 100 MHz (2.5 * 40 MHz = 100 MHz).
