Attestation Statements

November 27, 2013 Attestation For Wilson Signal Booster: FCC ID PWO460006 Each Signal Booster certificated under FCC ID PWO460006 is manufactured and individually tested to ensure FCC compliance: (1) Since this is not a provider-specific booster, licensee consent is not required. (2) NPS and other compliance/safeguard features have been implemented. (3) NPS and other compliance/safeguard features are defaulted to be “On” (in operation). (4) NPS and other compliance/safeguard features cannot be field reconfigured, disabled, or removed. (5) This consumer booster is not user programmable, does not need fine tuning or adjustment, and does not require professional installation. (6) Future software upgrade will not cause non-compliance. Sincerely, Patrick L. Cook Senior Research and Development Engineer

Wilson - According to Title 47 Part 2.925(f): Where it is shown that a permanently affixed nameplate is not desirable or is not feasible, an alternative method of positively identifying the equipment may be used if approved by the Commission. The proposed alternative method of identification and the justification for its use must be included with the application for equipment authorization. The devise is too small for the requested label to fit on the device, rendering a permanently affixed label infeasible. The proposed alternative and justification was included with the application as seen on three exhibits: Cover Letter_Alternative Warning Label Placement, Label & Location, and External Photos. Attached are copies of those exhibits. Alternatively I have included a file with images of the PWO460006 with the required label. It is obvious from these images that the label does not fit. 2) Per 20.21(f)(1)(2), the 20.21(f)(1)(4)(i) statement must also be in the users' manual; please provide updated exhibit. Wilson - The updated user manual exhibit is also attached with the required information. Response by: Wilson Electronics Submitted by: CTL Date: 2/14/14

Page 1 of 1 From: Axel Rodriguez [email protected] Re: FCC ID: PWO460006 Applicant: Wilson Electronics, LLC Correspondence Reference Number: 166432 Form 731 Confirmation Number: TC371891 Date of Original E-mail: 02/11/2014 During our verification testing of this device we have found that it does not comply with section §20.21(e)(8)(ii)(A) Anti-Oscillation. Upon detecting oscillation, the booster is required to continue mitigation for at least one minute before restarting. In our testing we have observed that this booster upon detecting oscillation restarts after only 5 seconds. Please explain. Wilson - The problem that occurred here is that the booster with the 5 second delay was shipped rather than the one with the 60 second delay. As recommended by the KDB there were two models sent for testing. The one that was shipped to the FCC for sample testing was the wrong one. The one with the 60 second delay is in transit and should arrive at the FCC by 2/12/2014. Response by: Wilson Electronics Submitted by: CTL Date: 2/14/14

RF Exposure Info

November 21, 2013 Subject: RF MPE EXPOSURE Re: FCC ID: PWO460006 To Whom It May Concern: The MPE calculations for model 460006 signal booster were done for each frequency band: 800 MHz and 1900 MHz. The power density for multiple radiators was calculated as well as two calculations for each band; these included the different possibilities of antennas that may be connected to this signal booster: Mobile Outside and Fixed Outside Antennas. The Inside Antenna is integrated into the model 460006 Signal Booster and any other Inside Antenna is non- applicable to this device. The order of the attached calculations is as follows: 800 MHz band: 1. Mobile Outside Antenna: 311104 2. Fixed Outside Antenna: 311124-400100 1900 MHz band: 3. Outside Antenna: 311101 4. Fixed Outside Antenna: 314473-0640 Radiation Safety 5. Calculated Combined Power Density A booster’s uplink power must not exceed 1 watt equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP) for each band of operation. Composite downlink power must not exceed 0.05 watt EIRP for each band of operation ( 20.21(e)(8)(i)(D)). The following formula was used to calculate the equivalent isotropic radiated power: EIRP= Power Out (Watts)*Duty Cycle Percent*Antenna Gain (non-log)*Coax loss (non-log) The power density (mW/cm 2 ) is calculated using the following formula: Calculated Power Density=1000*EIRP (Watts)/(4*π*(Distance from Antenna (cm)^2)) Sincerely, Patrick L.
