These two easy steps will get you up and running quickly. Step 1: Charge It Connect your Speaker Mojo to an outlet using the USB charging cable and power adapter . T he red LED light will slowly flash during charging and turn green when it has reached a complete charge (Approx. 2 hours). You can also put your speaker mojo onto the power cradle, and connect it to an outlet using the USB charging cable and power adapter to charge them both. Step 2: Connect it There are two options for connecting to your Speaker Mojo — wirelessly by Bluetooth© or wired using the included aux cable. Connect Wir elessly Once the Speaker Mojo has entered Bluetooth mode, the is currently in Bluetooth pairing mode will sound. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your mobile phone, tablet or computer Speaker Mojo and connected device will pair automatically. Holding the Play/Pause button for 5 seconds will disconnect the connected device and enter pairing mode for pair ing a new device. Operation Details Power on / Power off Slide the power switch to “on” to turn on the Speaker Mojo. T he Bluetooth indicator will light up to signify the unit is on and ready to be paired. Slide the power switch to “off” t o turn off the unit and the Bluetooth indicator light will go out. Play modes •Bluetooth mode: play an audio signal from the connected Bluetooth device. •AUX mode: play an audio signal from the connected “wired” device. Please note, if an Aux cable is connected to the speaker it will not play music from Bluetooth© connected devices. Step 2: Connect it (continued) Direct Connection The Speaker Mojo can also be connected to any device that has a headphone jack or line out using the included aux cable. Play modes Touch the “audio mode” on either side of the speaker or pres s “audio mode” button on the remote to shift among following play modes: •Bluetooth mode: play an audio signal from the connected Bluetooth© device. •AUX mode: play an audio signal from the connected “wired” device. Please note, if an Aux cable is connected to the speaker it will not play music from Bluetooth© connected devices. •FM mode: play FM radio. •Nature Song Mode: play 6 built-in songs. •Pr es s “audio mode” switch to natural sound play mode; •Use SKIP+/SKIP- to select the sound you want to play, and the selected icon will flash on the screen; •The selected music will start playing immediately. Bluetooth is the default play mode when the speaker is powered mode and enter this mode automatically when it turns back on. Speaker Phone Aft er pairing your mobile phone to Speaker Mojo with Bluetooth, the speaker phone function can be used. •Making a call: Call will automatically transfer to the speakerphone. If not, tap play/pause button; •Answering a call: Tap play/pause button to answer the incoming call; •Ending a call : Tap play/pause button during the call to end the call; •Rejecting a call : Hold play/pause button to reject the incoming call; •Redial last number: Double tap play/pause button to redial the last number when it is not in a call. Both play/pause button on speaker and remote work with this function. Power Cradle The Power cradle is a backup batt ery pack for Speaker Mojo and your Bluetooth device. •The Speaker Mojo can be removed from the power cradle to be set anywhere you like. Put Speaker Mojo into the power cradle, it will triple the playing hours immediately. *(*The playing hours could vary due to differ ent working en vironments) HL2739_SpkMojo_UserGuide_Working.indd 6-72/25/14 10:46 PM 1110 •The Power cradle fea tures a standard USB charging port with 5V, 1A power output to charge your device like iPhones, iP ods and smartphones*. Slide the on/off switch on the Power cr adle to “on” to turn on the charging, to “off” t o turn off the charging. (*Please ref er ence the instructions of device for details. The charging cable is not included. ) Charging Your Device Audio Use Follow the above connection steps to pair a Bluetooth © device with the Speaker Mojo. At this point you can send any kind of audio signal to your speaker (music, video, gaming, etc.). Just use your device as normal and the audio will play through your Speaker Mojo. Controls Pr es s the Play/P ause button to play or pause the music when using a music player through your Bluetooth © c onnected device. Pr es sing the + and - buttons will increase or decrease the volume on the Speaker Mojo. Please note that this will not affect the volume…
