F3 Octopus Installation & User Manual 3 How To Use This Guide This guide is designed to introduce you to the features of the 3SI Octopus ATM Defense System and to assist in installation and operation. Due to the numerous variations in currency cassettes, procedures for the cassette installation are provided in separate documentation. The section on system description includes a brief background of the Octopus system, definition of the various operational states, daily operating procedures and system maintenance. The appendices give further technical details for installation, and other specific procedures for operation and management of the Octopus system.
