October 21, 2005 RE: FCC ID: QFXRM-99_ATCB002857 Attention: Alison Kingston I have a few comments on this Application. Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. Please note that the required antenna terminal spurious emissions test does not appear to have been performed. Please provide this data as required by 2.1051 of the FCC rules. 2. FYI - Please note that as of September RSS 210 has undergone a revision. Please note that the new RSS210 reference for FHSS devices is RSS210 Issue 6 Annex 8. Please consider referencing the latest RSS210 standard. 3. It appears that this application is also for part 15B computer peripheral. Please note that the part 15B test report does not appear to contain test data showing the device being used as a computer peripheral device (i.e. data being sent and received via the I/O cable to/from the computer). Please explain and please show/provide this test data with the EUT as a computer peripheral. Dennis Ward mailto:[email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued. Please do not respond to this correspondence using the email reply button. In order for your response to be processed expeditiously, you must submit your documents through the AmericanTCB.com website. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted. Any questions about the content of this correspondence should be directed to the sender.

Response to ATCB comments: 1. Please note that the required antenna terminal spurious emissions test does not appear to have been performed. Please provide this data as required by 2.1051 of the FCC rules. Due to the fact there is no conducted power output available in the product, it is not possible to carry out these measurements. 2. FYI - Please note that as of September RSS 210 has undergone a revision. Please note that the new RSS210 reference for FHSS devices is RSS210 Issue 6 Annex 8. Please consider referencing the latest RSS210 standard. Noted 3. Please see report Tre_FCC_0537_05. In this report you will find the results for this listed in section 3. The computer and peripherals used for this test are included in the accessories listed in section 1.1. The set-up used for this can be seen in exhibit 7 – test set-up photographs.
