ATA T elephony Base BT41 Thanks you for purchasing Bluetooth Telephony Base BT41. BT41 telephony Base is designed and manufactured in accordance with Bluetooth specification v1.1. Bluetooth wireless technology is a global specification for personal area wireless connectivity to ensure communication compatibility worldwide. It connects any portable and stationary communication devices with Bluetooth enabled devices easily without a single inch of cable. BT41 Telephony Base accepts calls from both your desktop and mobile phones. It will also let you make call / answer from either your desktop phone via your Bluetooth wireless headset. This User's Guide will show you how to connect and operate BT41 Telephony Base. Usage Requirement You can use the Bluetooth Telephony Base with any desktop phone and Bluetooth wireless headset that is compatible with Bluetooth wireless technology and supports the Headset Profile (as audio gateway). This User's Guide is published by ATO without any warranty. Improvements and changes to this User's Guide necessitated by typographical errors, inaccuracies of current information ,or improvements to programs and /or equipment, may be made by ATO at any time and without notice. Headset / Handsfree Profile-Defined by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), it describes how manufacture should implement the various features supported by a Bluetooth Headset. The Bluetooth trademarks are owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.USA. To use BT41 with a Bluetooth wireless headset, you must first pair the two devices. 1. After power on BT41, the indicator light will turned green. 2. Set the Bluetooth headset in pairing mode. 3. Press the pairing button of BT41 for one second and the indicator light will turned from green to a blinking blue. Now BT41 is ready to be paired. 4. Blue light will stop blinking when paired and now both units enter ready mode. Making outgoing call 1. Press the number you want to call from the desktop phone pad (as you normally will do when trying to make a call with the desktop phone). 2. Press Bluetooth headset TALK button and wait for a dial tone (indicator light will turned blue). 3. After the call is connected, user may talk with the headset. 4. When the call is finished, press the TALK button again to end. Receive incoming call 1. When there is incoming call (ringing sound can be heard in both headset and the desktop phone), press the headset TALK button to receive the call. 2. To hang up, press the headset TALK button once again.
