Is this product intended for sale to OEM integrators or to the general public? The provided users manual seems to imply the former; please confirm. The product is sold to companies that re-label the equipment with their own label but Sychip is still the manufacturer. The users manual is provided to the OEM. Item 2. The test equipment list does not include equipment used for testing radiated emissions below 1GHz. Please clarify. Will upload a revised report. Item 3. The test report does not indicate at which symbol rate the equipment was operated during emissions testing. Please clarify how the equipment was operated and how the maximum emissions were determined. Will upload a revised report Item 4. The users manual provided is listed as a datasheet. If there is a separate users manual provided to the user, please provide a copy for review. There is not a separate manual provided to the user. Item 5. The test report does not indicate with what equipment the SDIO Card was tested. Per 2.1033(b)(8), please provide a description of the accessories used during test. Included in revised report. Item 6. The statement required by FCC 15.19 and 15.105 were not included in the users manual provided. Please provide a updated copy including these statements. Will upload a revised user guide. Item 7. No indication was given in the test report regarding voltage variations per 15.31(e). Please clarify. Included in revised test report. Item 8. The test setup photos provided in the test report are clear, however a couple of the photos provided in the test setup photos exhibit are too dark and unusable. Could you please provide an updated test setup photos exhibit? Will upload revised test setup photo exhibit. Item 9. The power output provided on form 731 is the conducted power output of the transmitter. Since this device has an integral antenna, the EIRP value should be listed on the grant. Please clarify. Conducted power was provided to show that SAR was done at appropriate power levels. The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information within 60 days may result in application dismissal pursuant to Section 2.917(c) and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to Section 1.1106. It is designed for use in PDA type devices. The radio has an integral antenna. All testing was performed at 11 Mbps as this was found to be the worst-case emission configuration. Emission levels were checked at 1 Mbps, 2 Mbps, and 5.5 Mbps as well and found to be the same or less than emission levels in 11 Mbps mode. A software test mode was used to operate the equipment in the required channels and at the required power levels. EMC testing was performed with the device installed in a PDA (Compaq iPAQ 3955, s/n. 4G29KUL190MX) Testing was performed with fully charged batteries in the host device.
