Touch Screen Remote 277 The Touch Screen Remote (TSR) provides on-screen function buttons to enable rear passengers to operate various vehicle features: •Media source. (see ‘Media’, page 279) •Rear climate settings. (see ‘Climate’, page 279) •Rear seat heating, ventilation and massage settings. (see ‘Seats’, page 280) •Rear blind control. (see ‘Blinds’, page 281) •Mood lighting settings. (see ‘Lighting’, page 281) •Satellite navigation. (see ‘Navigation’, page 282) •Flying B control. (see ‘Flying B’, page 282) •Vehicle information. (see ‘Car’, page 282) •Audio system settings. (see ‘Sound’, page 283) Releasing the Touch Screen Remote from the charging cradle Caution Do not force the TSR from the cradle. Important If the cradle is obstructed when ejecting the TSR will return to the home position Note When the ignition is switched on and the TSR is in the cradle, the TSR battery will automatically be charged. It is recommended that the TSR is placed in the cradle when not in use. The ignition must be switched on in order to eject the TSR. The TSR is fully locked from use and cannot be ejected when the child lock is active (see ‘Smart remote child lock settings’, page 274). If the TSR is not removed from the cradle when it is ejected, the cradle will retract after 6 seconds and lock the TSR back in place. To release the Touch Screen Remote (TSR) from the charging cradle: •Press on the TSR screen. The TSR will eject from its cradle, allowing it to be removed. To replace the TSR, place it back into the cradle. Magnetic force will pull the TSR into the cradle. 278 Touch Screen Remote Touch Screen Remote features Home screen Note Some functions of the Touch Screen Remote will not operate if WiFi is deactivated on the Infotainment system. Fig. 104Touch Screen Remote home screen The Touch Screen Remote (TSR) home screen displays icons across two pages to allow quick access to all TSR features. To access the second page of features, swipe your finger across the screen from the right hand side to the left. The home screen can be configured to display ‘widgets’ to allow quick access and basic functionality of the TSR features. To access the widgets home screen, press . To add a widget to the home screen: •Press on the widget to be modified. •Select the preferred widget to be displayed on the home screen. •Select Save. Media The Touch Screen Remote can be used to control the media system. To access the media function, press the following icons: Within the media tab, the following options are available: PLAY displays the media which is currently playing. FAV displays saved radio stations on your favourites list. LIST displays the options for the current media source (available radio stations, tracks etc.) SOURCE to select the media source (see ‘Select a media source’, page 237). Climate The Touch Screen Remote (TSR) can be used to adjust the climate control settings for the rear compartment. Occupants of the front seats can make similar adjustments using the front compartment controls (see ‘Access the rear air settings’, page 255). To adjust the rear climate settings press the following icons: 279 Touch Screen Remote The following controls are available from this page: •AC max (when fitted) - Reduces the air temperature and increases the air output to maximum, cooling the vehicle interior as quickly as possible. Press the button again to switch the function off and return to the previously used settings. •Ioniser (when fitted) - Activate the feature to help achieve better air quality within the vehicle. •Climate system off – Switches the rear climate control system off. •Temperature settings – Increase or decrease the temperature in 0.5° increments. Pressing any of the functions on the left or right of the display will take you to the climate settings screen to adjust the climate settings in relation to that side. The climate settings screens can also be accessed by swiping left or right under the taskbar. 123 645 Fig. 105TSR rear climate settings 1.Fan speed – Increase or decrease the fan speed. 2.Air distribution – Press to alter the air flow direction. 3.Air temperature – Increase or decrease the air temperature. 4.BACK – Return to the rear climate control main page. 5.AUTO - Regulates the air temperature, flow and distribution automatically, so the specified temperature is attained and maintained. 6.SYNC – Synchronises the climate settings of the opposing rear seat to the settings displayed. Seats To adjust the rear seat settings press the following icons: 280 Touch Screen Remote The following controls are available from this page: •Seat heating control – Select the seat heating intensity (between 1-3) and seat heating distribution (back only/ base only/both). •Seat ventilation control (when fitted) - Select the seat ventilation level (between 1-3) and seat ventilation distribution (back only/base only/both). •Massage control (when fitted) – Select the massage type and intensity. •Auto mode – The seat temperature follows the rear climate settings. VIP seat control To activate this feature, press the following icon: When enabled, VIP seat control allows you to adjust the front passenger seat using the rear seat controls. Blinds To activate this feature, press the following icons: The following controls are available from this page: •OPEN ALL blinds. •CLOSE ALL blinds. •Rear blind up/down – Select to raise or lower the rear blind. •Rear left blind up/down – Select to raise or lower the rear left blind. •Rear right blind up/down – Select to raise or lower the rear right blind. •Front roof blind open/close (when fitted) – Select to open or close the front sunroof blind. •Rear roof blind open/close (when fitted) – Select to open or close the rear sunroof blind.
