Hi, Tim, 1) No, we don't have. Normally, the signed back quotation form is the POA recognized by our customer. 2) We did submit it, but I will ask Linda to re-submit it again. 3) We did some similiar projects recently but never been requested for this. We did inform the customer for this requirement, but as usual, it is not possible to put such information in the users manual since they maybe will sell the product to different distributor. So, a separate sheet while they find a new buyer will be a better choice for them. Taking this chance, I would like to re-inform you just as I did before to Bill that I know your request is reasonable, but we could not ignore the fact the *****, ***** as well as *** never request such letter. That already become a big point that our customer can complain about. So, personally I think we can just do our job to inform the customer this requirement, and let them to do what they need to do instead of insisting to see the letter. 4) Revised manual will be submitted to you. 5) Revised report will be submitted to you. American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 April 30, 2004 RE: Amigo Technology Co., Ltd. FCC ID: RC6AWP-914W I have a few comments on the above referenced Application. General Requirements 1) Is an agency letter available for this application? 2) Please provide an RF exposure exhibit for this application. This exhibit could not be found. Note that this particular application will require SAR evaluation. 3) Since this device may be considered as a PC Peripheral, then an compliance information sheet should be included in the manual on the same page as the FCC statements (alternatively, this may be shipped with the product as a separate sheet). Please provide. This information should contain the following information regarding DoC compliance: COMPLIANCE INFORMATION (47CFR 2.1077) If a product is tested and authorized under a Declaration of Conformity, a compliance information statement shall be supplied with the product at the time of marketing or importation, containing the following information: (1) Identification of the product, i.e. name and model number. (NOTE THIS IS ALREADY IN THE MANUAL) (2) A statement similar to that contained in Section 15.19(a)(3) that the product complies with Part 15 of the regulations. (NOTE THIS IS ALREADY IN THE MANUAL) (3) The identification, by name, address and telephone number, of the responsible party. The responsible party is defined as either the manufacturer, or if the equipment is imported, the importer. The responsible party for a Declaration of Conformity must be located within the United States. (THIS IS MISSING ON PAGE 2). 4) The RF exposure statement in the users manual references 20 cm. Please note that 20 cm is not considered an applicable distance since PCMCIA cards positioned in the laptop are closer than this when positioned in the lap. Please correct the RF exposure information in the manual. 5) Please note that the all deltas have been miscalculated and also sometimes using the incorrect data point. Please correct, being sure to measure to the highest point shown in the restricted bands. Timothy R. Johnson Examining Engineer mailto: [email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued. Please do not respond to this correspondence using the email reply button. In order for your response to be processed expeditiously, you must submit your documents through the AmericanTCB.com website. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted. Any questions about the content of this correspondence should be directed to the sender.
