The headset conta i ns a m i cropho ne and i t provides hands- f ree co mm unication with the use of a Bluetoot h ® enabled m obile phone. It can al so be used to listen to stereo m u sic if used with a Bluetoot h ® en abled m u sic player. Th e power is provid ed by a Lithium I on rechargea ble bat tery. Any device that you want to use w i th this Bluetooth ® headset m u st be com p atible with Bluetoo t h ® technology version 1.1 or above. The device m u st also support the sa m e p r ofiles as the headset. 3 Wearing t h e He adset Wear the hea dset from the back o f the head. Chargi ng a nd b a tter y time It is our recom m endation to ch arge t he h eadse t for 8 hours befor e first use. A. Connect the ada ptor to an electrical outlet. B. Open th e char ging port cover and plug the adaptor 's connector into the char g i ng port. C. While char ging, the blue LED light w ill stay solid on; w hen chargin g is completed, t he light w ill stop flashing . Unplug the adaptor 's connector from the headset and close the charging p o rt cover. D. Charging time is about 2.5- 4 hour s. 6 2. Pairing pr oced u r e Before using y o u r headset, you m u st p a ir it w i th a Bluetooth ® e nabl ed mobile phone and/or au dio gat ewa y . A. Press and hold t he Multi-Function Ke y ( ► || ) fo r 3 secon d s to tu rn on the headset. B. With the headset turned on, press and hold the Multi-Function Ke y ( ► || ) for 6 s eco nds until the r ed and blue LEDs flash alternat el y , i ndicating that the headset is in p a iring mode C. Pairing w i th a mobile pho ne: Use y o u r phone’ s menu to sear ch f o r Bluetooth ® a u d io devices. The phone should ind i cate that it has found the " HH601 " headset. Select this. D. Pairing w i th oth e r audi o ga te w a y s : F o llow the instructions of the p a iring proced ure of the audio devices. E. When asked for a p a sske y , enter: “ 1234 ”. The audi o device or mobile phone w ill confirm that p a iring ha s been successful. If the other device does not have a user interface, m a ke sure that it t a kes “ 1234 ” as a s e t of p a sskey . 7 8 F. Once pairing succeeds, LEDs on both devices will stop flashing simultaneously. G. If pairing does not occur as expected, turn off both devices and wait 10 seconds before repeating steps A – F. Turning your headset ON and OFF 1. To switch the headset ON, press the Multi-Function Key ( ► ||) for 3 seconds until the blue LED turns on. The LED will stay solid on for 1 second. 2. To switch the headset OFF, press the Multi-Function Key ( ► ||) for 3 seconds until the red LED turns on. The LED will stay solid on for 1 second. Answering a call When there is an incoming call, a ring tone will sound in your headset; press the Multi-Function Key ( ► ||) on headset to answer the call. You can also press the talk key on the mobile phone, and the sound will be transferred to the headset. Making a call fr om t h e mo bile p hone ke y p ad 1. Dial the phone number using th e keypad on the mobile phone. 2. To send the call, press the phone 's SEND/CALL ke y. 3. T he call w ill then be tr ans fer r ed autom atically to the headset w hen co nnection is made.
