To... Left soft key  Access to main menu in standby mode.  Select the highlighted item. Ending key  Power on or power off the phone (by pressing and holding it for about 3s).  End a call, or reject an incoming call.  Return to standby mode. 3 Press... To... Calling key  Make a call.  Answer an incoming call.  View call logs in standby mode. Right soft key  Display Phonebook in standby mode.  Return to the previous menu. Navigation keys  Access: Missed calls(Up direction key), Add new contact(Down direction key), SMS(Left direction key), and SIM toolkit (Right direction key) in standby mode.  Select a item. Number keys  Enter numbers, letters, and characters.  Call the voice mail center in standby mode (by pressing and holding the 1 key for about 3 seconds).  Speed-dial phone numbers in standby mode (by pressing and holding the 2–9 keys for about 3 seconds).  Select a submenu item labeled with the corresponding number. * key  In standby mode, press the key once to enter *, twice to enter +, three times to enter P, and four times to enter W.  Display the symbol list in any input mode.  Lock the keypad in standby mode (by pressing Left soft key and then * key). 5 Press... To... # key  Enter #.  Enable or disable the silent mode in standby mode (by pressing and holding it for about 3s).  Change input modes when editing texts. Screen Icons Icon Indicates Signal strength. A new text message has received. The call forwarding function has enabled. 6 Icon Indicates MP3 music is being played in the background. An alarm has activated. The keypad has locked. Battery’s Power level. The General profile has activated. The Outdoor profile has activated. The Silent profile has activated. Missed call/s. 7 2 Getting Started Installing the Battery and a SIM Card You can install SIM card on the phone. When installing the SIM card, ensure that the golden contact area on the SIM card is facing downward, and the beveled edge of the SIM card is properly aligned with that of the card slot. 8 Installing a micro SD Card You can insert a micro SD card to expand the memory capacity of your phone. When installing a micro SD card, ensure that the golden contact area on the micro SD card is facing downward, and the beveled edge of the micro SD card has properly aligned with that of the card slot. Then pull out the clip to fix the micro SD card in the slot. 9 No micro SD card is delivered in the product package. If a micro SD card is required, you can buy one yourself. Charging the Battery 1. Connect the charger to a power socket. 2. Connect the charger to the charger jack on the phone. 10 Phone Lock The phone lock protects your phone from unauthorized use. By default, the phone lock function has disabled. You can change the default phone lock code (0000) into any numeric string in the range of four to eight digits. Do remember your phone lock code. If you forget it, contact the service center. PIN and PUK The personal identification number (PIN) protects your SIM card from unauthorized use. The PIN unblocking key (PUK) can unlock the blocked PIN. Both PIN and PUK are delivered with the SIM card. For details, consult your service provider. If you enter wrong PINs for a specified number of times consecutively, the phone asks you to enter the PUK. 11 Locking the Keypad In standby mode, press the Left soft key and then * key to lock the keypad, and press the Left soft key then * key again to unlock the keypad. If the Auto Keypad Lock function has enabled and the phone is idle for a preset period in standby mode, the keypad has locked automatically. When the keypad has locked, you can press the Calling key to answer an incoming call or make emergency calls. 3 Phone book The phone provides two kinds of storage media: SIM card and phone. The phone can store 500 entries. The capacity of the phone book on your SIM card depends on the type of SIM card provided by your network operator. Enter a number in idle screen and press the left soft key or the OK key to save the number. Select the storage location. Then the edit interface appears. 12 4 Media center Camera The phone is provided with a built-in 0.3 mega pixel CMOS camera at the back, which supports the photographing and video shooting functions. Pictures are saved in the file system of the phone or the T-Flash card. The file is in the *.jpg format. You can send the pictures taken by the MMS/Bluetooth function provided by the phone. When you set the Image size '80x60' '160x120' '320x240' '640x480' ‘176 x220’ , please rotate the phone with 90 degree. Audio player Allow you to play audio files. The phone supports external memory card. You need to save downloaded music files to directory My Music, so that they can play normally. Video player Allow you to play audio files. The phone supports external memory card. You need to save downloaded music files to directory Videos, so that they can play normally. 13 Video recorder Video recorder is used for video shooting. Press OK key to start or stop shooting. The video clip is saved to the phone or T-Flash card. When you do the video recorder, please rotate the phone with 90 degree. Sound recorder 1. Select Menu > Multimedia > Sound recorder. 2. Press LSK(Options) and then select New record to start recording. 5 Bluetooth Through Bluetooth, you can exchange data with other Bluetooth devices, or use a Bluetooth headset to enjoy music. 6 WAP You can access WAP sites and use WAP-based services on your phone.
