54/108M Wireless Mini-PCI Adapter User's Guide FCC STATEMENT This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: ¾ Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. ¾ Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. ¾ Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. ¾ Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference. (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation . Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. Transmitter Module approval conditions: 1. Antennas must be installed to provide 20 cm separation distance from the transmitting antenna to the body of user during normal operating condition. This device must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. 2. Only those antennas filed under FCC ID: TE7WN66XG can be used with this device. 3. When the Module installed in the final system where the antenna location is less than 20 cm separation distance to the body of user, additional equipment authorization applied. 4. FCC ID label on the final system must be labeled with "Contains FCC ID: TE7WN66XG" or "Contains transmitter module FCC ID:TE7WN66XG". 5. In the user manual, final system integrator must be ensure that there is no instruction provided in the user manual to install or remove the transmitter module. 6. Transmitter module must be installed and used in strict accordance with the manufacturer¡¦s instructions as described in the user documentation that comes with the product. This device complies with the following radio frequency and safety standards. Two proposed FCC ID label format are included in the filing. One of label is to be placed on the module and the other label is to be placed on the outside of system. Refer to FCC ID label format and location file. 7 The modular transmitter is manufactured so that the user cannot influence the operation of the transmitter that will operate outside of the scope of the regulations. Refer to “User’s Guide” Exhibit 8 Address compliance with the Commission's RF exposure limits in Sections 1.1310 and 2.1093. In addition, spread spectrum transmitters operating under Section 15.247 are required to address RF exposure compliance in accordance with Section 15.247(b)(4).
