Front of Meter: We do not have a final meter yet but it will look like the one in the photo. The end user will only see the LCD, a photo diode, and an LED, which are all mounted on the PCB. We (Hunt Technologies) are not producing the meter; we are only producing the PCB which integrates the GE I-210 metrology PCB with the Hunt Technologies AirPoint PCB. The rest of the meter will still be produced by General Electric. The hand-written label you see in the picture will be replaced with a typical General Electric Meter label. Also on the front of the meter will be a sticker stating the FCC and IC IDs, which is the external label I sent as an exhibit. (LABL-00186 (Exterior).pdf)

Operational Description

This device is an integration of two existing products, 1) General Electric (GE) I-210 metrology circuit board and 2) Hunt Technologies AirPoint I-210 circuit board. The AirPoint portion of the circuit will read data from the metrology portion. The RF transmitter transmits On-Off-Keyed signals to compatible Itron receivers. It has a digitally-tuned Voltage Controlled Oscillator. It’s transmit frequency is random and covers a 2.5 MHz band nominally. At room temperature, the transmitter is digitally tuned (i.e. minimum and maximum values are stored in EEPROM memory) so that its minimum transmit frequency is 913.672 MHz and its maximum transmit frequency is 916.138 MHz.
