FCC statement Modification statement The FCC requires the user to be notified that any changes or modifications made to this device that are not expressly approved by Vitelcom Mobile Safety Instructions - -- - 7 77 7 - -- - Technology S.A. may void the userís authority to operate the equipment. Interference statement: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Class B digital devices regulatory notice This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by 1 or more of the following measures: • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected - -- - 8 88 8 - -- - • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio or television technician for help Wireless notice This product emits radio frequency energy, but it has been tested and the SAR levels are far bellow the FCC limits. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various phones and at various positions, they all meet the government requirement for RF exposure. For body-worn operation, the phone meets FCC RF exposure guidelines provided that it is used with accessories that contain no metallic components in its construction and provides a separation of at least 1.5 cm from the body. Use of other accessories may not ensure compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines. Nevertheless, the device should be used in such a manner that the potential for human contact with the antenna during normal operation is minimized. Measurement of radio frequency exposed (absorbed special rate information SAR) This mobile phone is a transmitter-receiver with the low-output electric wave. The mobile phone conforms to mandatory requirements of EU standard related with radio wavelength exposed, This product is designed and manufactured, kept from exceeding the exposed range of radio frequency energy as EU council has recommended. The international standard value is developed on the basis of thorough and regular scientific researches and evaluation (examination) by an independent research institute. - -- - 9 99 9 - -- - The range standard is to search for safety of all regardless of age or health state. Standard value exposed of the mobile phone is displayed in ìSpecific Absorption Rateî (SAR) unit. The SAR range (limit) that EU council recommends is 2.0w/kg. Based on the mobile functions, SAR test will be performed, and then the mobile sends the maximum output at the certified frequency. Its maximum output will be measured in SAR, but the level of the usual SAR will be far less than the maximum value. It is because the mobile phone is designed to operate at various strength of frequency. Consequently you are required to use the phone with the minimum strength as necessary in the communication network. In general, the closer a transmitting tower is, the lower the strength is. The manufacturer shall demonstrate that the phone conforms to R&TTE standard of Europe prior to release in the communication market. All of these requirements are mandatory to keep all the users safe and healthy. The maximum output of SAR in the phone is tested to be 1,15W/Kg. SAR limit for all the used mobile phones is 2.0 W/Kg for 10g of the human body, which is the maximum value in consideration of the additional safety items so to include all the other variables. SARís standard value can be changed to cope with national requirements and functions of the communication service network. Communication network service The product is approved to be available in GSM850~1900 environment. Please read the user manual carefully to get familiar with the functions of the device. Besides, this mobile phone is allowed to accept other communication network services. However, you need to contact the operator to use the services. How to join will be described later. Safety on the road Please remember that use of the mobile…

The device supports GSM850, EGSM900, DCS1800, and PCS1900 applications. The receive path implements a direct down-conversion architecture that eliminates the need for Intermediate Frequency (IF) components. The device consists of four integrated Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), a quadrature demodulator, selectable receiver baseband filter bandwidths, low droop DC Offset Correction (DCOC) sequencer, and integrated 2 nd order Intercept Point (IP2) calibration circuitry. Similar to its predecessors, Skyworks innovative DCR™ architecture allows for this highly integrated device to be combined with virtually any standard GSM/EGPRS baseband without requiring any special processing interfaces. The device uses a translation loop transmit architecture. This architecture consists of an In-phase and Quadrature (I/Q) modulator and a frequency translation loop to perform frequency up-conversion with high output spectral purity. The translation loop also contains a phase-frequency detector, charge pump, mixer, programmable dividers, and high power transmit Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs) with no external tank required. The SKY74117-13 also features an integrated, fully programmable, sigma-delta fractional-N synthesizer suitable for EGPRS multi-slot operation. The reference frequency for the synthesizer is supplied by an integrated Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator (VCXO) circuit that enables the use of a low-cost crystal. The VCXO also provides a buffered reference frequency output to supply other devices in the system. The SKY74117-13 is packaged in a small, 40-pin 6 x 6 mm RF Land Grid Array (RFLGA™) package. A functional block diagram is shown in Figure 1. Skyworks offers lead (Pb)-free “environmentally friendly” packaging that is RoHS compliant (European Parliament for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
