Federal Communication Commission Equipment Authorization Division, Application Processing Branch 7435 Oakland Mills Road Columbia, MD 21048 May 1, 2006 RE: TKH-M350 label location TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Identification label of the equipment TKH-M350 is located in the battery compartment: Per Sec. 2.925 (Identification of the equipment): ... (d) In order to validate the grant of equipment authorization, the nameplate or label shall be permanently affixed to the equipment and shall be readily visible to the purchaser at the time of purchase. (1) As used here, permanently affixed means that the required nameplate data is etched, engraved, stamped, indelibly printed, or otherwise permanently marked on a permanently attached part of the equipment enclosure. Alternatively, the required information may be permanently marked on a nameplate of metal, plastic, or other material fastened to the equipment enclosure by welding, riveting, etc., or with a permanent adhesive. Such a nameplate must be able to last the expected lifetime of the equipment in the environment in which the equipment will be operated and must not be readily detachable. (2) As used here, readily visible means that the nameplate or nameplate data must be visible from the outside of the equipment enclosure. It is preferable that it be visible at all times during normal installation or use, but this is not a prerequisite for grant of equipment authorization. ... The equipment TKH-M350 will be marketed with the battery removed, not mounted together with the equipment, the customer will need to place the battery on the battery compartment. So at the time of purchase the customer will clearly see and read the identification label. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the address shown below. Measurements were performed respectively on the lowest, middle and highest channels of the operating band. The phone was set to maximum power level during all tests, and at the beginning of each test the battery was fully charged. During the SAR testing, the DASY4 system checks power drift by comparing the e-field strength of one specific location measured at the beginning with that measured at the end of the SAR testing. Moreover, since the EUT supports Bluetooth function, the Bluetooth transmitter has to always keep on and use Bluetooth headset to speak to each channel to measure SAR values in the worst case condition. 1.6 The SAR Measurement System A photograph of the SAR measurement System is given in Fig. a.
