SUMMARY iDEN repeater is located in blanket / shadow area of insider of building to transmit iDEN800MHz, iDEN900MHz BTS signal simultaneously. There are two types of RF Repeater for iDEN band as each 15dBm, and 25dBm output power in system 65dB Gain, and 15dBm output power in system 80dB Gain. This User Manual is the Repeater having 65dBGain / +15dBm output power. Bandwidth - Downlink 851MHz~869MHz, Uplink 806MHz~824MHz (18MHz Band) - Downlink 862MHz~869MHz, Uplink 817MHz~824MHz (7MHz Band) To avoid paging signal interference at 940MHz side, IF Converter shift SAW filter edge by 200KHz, 400KHz. (TX Edge only, not whole bandwidth). Also, This Repeater is equipped for Output power control by AGC/ALC, Gain Control by Attenuator adjustment, Remote Control by using Web UI and Remote Firmware Up-grade. The users' manual indicates that this is a band-selective repeater, with variable bands available through the Graphic User Interface (GUI) selecting different SAW filters. Please describe how the testing was performed to ensure that the different SAW filters were used to ensure compliance in all settings/bandwidths. -> We have pre-tested all selective bands and the characteristics of all bands were not much different. So we reported the widest band which can represent the test results of all selective bands and we are also going to note a comment in the test report. 2. The original report stated that this device was a CDMA repeater, but the new report is now consistent with the other exhibits stating iDEN repeater. Please provide the Emission Designator Type (3 character designation) for the iDEN modulation for which this repeater will be approved using the guidance in FCC 2.200. -> I'm sorry to confuse you but there was a mistake with EUT type in the previous test report. The new report is correct. It is a iDEN repeater and we provided Emission Designator Type in the test report. 3. The original application was submitted with the FCC ID: U88GSTR-815D- SPR, however the new documentation now has FCC ID: U88GSTR-815DM-SPR. Please confirm the FCC ID to be used for this application. -> We confirmed the FCC ID which is U88GSTR-815DC-SPR 4. The new test report shows 3 different model numbers under this FCC ID, but there is no description of the differences between the model numbers. Please explain the differences between the 3 model numbers and how testing of one model is representative of all 3 models. -> GSTeletech said they are not going to add an additional two models. Differences between the models are whether or not the repeater has CCD and Modem. But It doesn't matter, we submit just one model which is U88GSTR-815DC-SPR.
