RF Warning Statement: 1. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference. (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. 2. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. NOTE:This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruc- tions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a par- ticular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. RF exposure statement: This device must be operated in a stationary table top or wall mount configuration and should not be held or carried while in opera- tion. The user is cautioned to observe a minimum separation distance of at least 1 centimeter from the antenna to user extremities (fin- gers, hands) and maintain a separation of at leas…

RF Exposure Info

16005 TX‐9601 SAR Exclusion Page 1 of 1 SAR Exclusion Justification for FCC ID 2AB6OTX9601 Test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm Guidance document reference: 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v05r01, page 11, paragraph 4.3.1(1). The 1‐g and 10‐g SAR test exclusion thresholds for 100 MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune‐up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] * [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0 for 1‐g SAR and ≤ 7.5 for 10‐g extremity SAR, where • f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz • Power and distance are rounded to the nearest mW and mm before calculation • The result is rounded to one decimal place for comparison • 3.0 and 7.5 are referred to as the numeric thresholds The test exclusions are applicable only when the minimum test separation distance is ≤ 50 mm and for transmission frequencies between 100 MHz and 6 GHz. When the minimum test separation distance is < 5 mm, a distance of 5 mm according to 5) in section 4.1 is applied to determine SAR test exclusion. SAR test exclusion analysis: Assumptions: Since the exact separation distance may vary from sensor to sensor, the minimum separation distance of 5 mm is assumed per the guidance document. Max. power of channel: 10 mW Min. separation distance: 5 mm Max. frequency: 0.46775 GHz Calculation: [(Pwr/Dist)*Sqrt(Freq.)] = 1.367, or rounded to 1.4 The result of the above SAR threshold calculation demonstrates that the result is less than the 1‐g numeric threshold of 3 and the 10‐g numeric threshold of 7.5. Conclusion: The above analysis shows that the digital transmission system transceiver with FCC ID 2AB6OTX9601 qualifies for exemption from SAR testing. ***
