BLASTER QUICK START GUIDE Search for Savant in your app store and look for this icon. THANKS FOR PURCHASING A SAVANT BLASTER. HERE’S HOW TO GET STARTED: 1 DOWNLOAD THE SAVANT APP ™ The Savant App is available for Apple and Android devices. Upon download, the app will walk you through the rest of your setup. If you need additional help, visit savant.com / support. ENSURE YOUR HOST IS ALREADY SET UP A Savant Host ™ is required to connect to the Blaster. A solid green light indicates that the Host is connected to your Wi - Fi ® network. If you need help setting up your Host, please refer to the Host Quick Start Guide. 2 POWER ON YOUR BLASTER Insert the two AAA batteries into the bottom of the Blaster to power it on. Your app should recognize the Blaster and will prompt you to connect it to the system. If you do not receive a prompt, you can complete the Blaster setup through the Devices section of the Savant App. 3 PLACE YOUR BLASTER Blasters are for use with devices that are out of the line of sight of your Remote Base. MPE (Maximum Permissible Exposure) Assessment 2.1 Introduction According to 47 CFR §2.1091, a mobile device is defined as a transmitting device designed to be used in other than fixed locations and to generally be used in such a way that a separation distance of at least 20 cm is normally maintained between the transmitting antenna and the body of the user or nearby persons. In this context, the term “fixed location” means that the device is physically secured at one location and is not able to be easily moved to another location.
