INSTALLATION GUIDE 1148 Emergency Pendant Description The 1148 Emergency Pendant is a one-button, wireless emergency transmitter designed to be worn as a bracelet or on a break-away lanyard. The 1148 may be used to activate an Emergency alarm at the panel. The 1148 features a water-resistant design with a Status LED to provide visual indication that a message has been transmitted and received by the panel. The 1148 operates using the pre-installed lithium battery. At the Serial Number: option, enter the eight-digit serial number. Refer to the panel programming guide as necessary. When Supervision time is set to 0, the 1148 Status LED blinks once every minute to FRQÀUPFRPPXQLFDWLRQIURPWKHSDQHO:KHQ6XSHUYLVLRQWLPHVHWWRRUWKH Status LED only blinks when the button is pressed. See Figure 5. :KHQXVLQJ6XSHUYLVRU\WLPHRIRUUHPRYLQJWKHSHQGDQWIURPWKHSDQHO location for greater than the Supervisory time will result in a Zone missing display at the keypad. Note: When a receiver is installed, powered up, or the panel is reset, the supervision time for transmitters is reset. If the receiver has been powered down for more than one hour, wireless transmitters may take up to an additional hour to send a supervision message unless tripped, tampered, or powered up. Any indication otherwise means proper communication has not been established.
