The EUT is a cordless Keyboard and communicates with the PC by means of a transmitted RF signal. The fundamental frequency of this signal is 27.145MHz. The PC is fitted with a Cordless Desktop Receiver to detect and decode the signal. The PC is running a special 'Test Software' which causes the EUT to transmit a continuous stream of the letter i, in lower-case. A monitor is connected to the PC and displays status information. A modem, printer, and mouse are connected to the PC, but are not operating in this 'Keyboard Test' Mode.
