Charging yourheadset is simple if you follow these steps (see diagram on page 5):1. Place the receiver and headset in the appropriate spots in the charger. Make sure that all contacts are snug. 2. Plug the power adapter into the charger. 3. Connect the power adapter to a nearby electrical outlet.4. The LED lights will be red if charging. If the LED is orange, the connection is not sufficient. Tighten the connection until the LED turns red (or green, if the headset is already fullycharged). 5. When the LED turns green, your headset is fully charged. It should only take approximately 2 hours to fully charge your headset. 6. Remove both the receiver and the headset from the charger. 7. Once charged, gently connect the receiver to your mobile phone. The Logitech logo should be facing the same direction as your phone keys. Headset and receiver LED There are two LED lights, one on the receiver and another on the headset. They will flashat different speeds and display different colors according to certain conditions. The listbelow describes what these mean.Talk Mode Flash Rate On Slow Muted Fast Off No Flash Operation Mode ColorGREEN Normal or Fully Charged ORANGE Lost Connection or Problem with Charging RED Low Battery or Charging Using Your HeadsetTurning the headset on and off Pushing the multi-function button and holding for 2 seconds will turn on the headset. Toturn the headset off, simply push the multi-function button and hold for 2 seconds. Thisfeature will work even if your phone does not support the multi-function call answer/endfeature. Automatic power down The headset will power down and turn off after 5 minutes of no activity. If the headsetdoesn't detect a signal from the receiver for 30 seconds, then the headset will also turnitself off. This will help conserve power. The Logitech PAN will operate under FCC Part 15.249 and is comprised of a dongle transceiver unit (MN: F-0132B). The dongle unit connects to a cellular/mobile (e.g. GSM) telephone, and constitutes the remote transceiver unit for communication with the matched headset.
