GENERAL WARNINGS: SAFETY - INSTALLATION - OPERATION (original instructions in Italian). ATTENTIONImportant safety instructions. If this is not the case, DO NOT carry out the installation. •The product may only be used after it has been commissioned in accordance with the chapter ‘Testing and commissioning’. ATTENTIONAccording to the latest European legislation, the manufacture of an automated system must comply with the harmonised standards provided for in the Machinery Directive in force, on the basis of which the presumed conformity of the automated system can be declared. For this reason, all work relating to connection to the mains, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the product must only be carried out by a qualified and competent technician! •Before installing the product, ensure that all materials to be used are in good condition and suitable for use. •The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge. •Children must not play with the appliance. •Do not allow children to play with the appliance controls. Keep the remote controls away from children. •Handle the product with care during installation and avoid crushing it, knocking it, dropping it or allowing it to come into contact with liquids of any kind. Do not place the product near heat sources and do not expose it to naked flames. All these actions can damage it and lead to malfunctions or dangerous situations. In this case, stop the installation immediately and contact customer service. •The manufacturer is not liable for damage to property or personal injury caused by failure to follow the installation instructions. The guarantee for material defects is excluded in these cases. •The sound pressure level of the A-weighted emission is below 70 dB(A). •Cleaning and maintenance intended by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children. •Check the system frequently, especially the cables, springs and brackets, to ensure that they are not out of balance and show no signs of wear or damage. Do not use if repair or adjustment is required as incorrect installation or a poorly balanced drive can cause injury. •The product's packaging material must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. •A distance of at least 0.4 m must be maintained between the driven parts and fixed objects. •The labelling on the tubular motors can be covered after installation. •Watch out for the moving roller shutter and keep your distance until the roller shutter is fully lowered. •Be careful when operating the manual release device, as a raised roller shutter can fall down quickly if the springs are weak or broken. •Do not use the external blind if maintenance work, such as window cleaning, is being carried out nearby. •Disconnect the awning from the power supply if maintenance work, e.g. window cleaning, is being carried out in the vicinity. Warning for the ‘automatically controlled roller blind’. INSTALLATION WARNINGS •Before installing the drive motor, remove all unnecessary cables and switch off all devices that are not required for motorised operation. •Install the manual release actuator at a height of less than 1.8 metres. NOTE: If it is removable, the actuator must remain in close proximity to the door. •Make sure that the actuators are away from the moving parts, but still allow a direct view of them. The actuating element of a manually operated switch must be in a position that is visible from the guided part but away from moving parts. It must be mounted at a height of at least 1.5 metres. •Permanently installed operating devices must be positioned so that they are visible. •For drive motors that allow access to unprotected moving parts after installation, these parts must be installed at a height of more than 2.5 m above the floor or at another level that allows access. •This device complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. To ensure compliance, a minimum separation distance of 20 cm must be maintained between the device and the user during normal operation. 1 – English PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE 1 This product is a tubular motor that allows you to automate an indoor roller blind, or an indoor sun screen, or a similar rolling device (fig. 1). Any other use is prohibited! The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the product, with respect to what is described in this manual. The product has the following functional characteristics: • is powered by a rechargeable battery (see the data on the engine plate); • is installed inside the roller blind; the part of the motor that protrudes from the roller (electronic head) is fixed to the ceiling or wall with special support brackets (not in- cluded in the package); • integrates a radio receiver and a control unit with encoder technology which guar- antees electronic control of the movement and the precision of the limit switches; • can be configured and operate with both ONE-WAY and TWO-WAY transmission logic.
