All uses other than that described herein and use in environmental conditions other than those indicated in this manual are con- sidered improper and forbidden! ON3ELR (ON3ELR/A) is compatible with receiv - ers that adopt both the two-way “LR” radio encoding systems. The ON3ELR (ON3ELR/A) is equipped with 4 keys (Fig. 1): 3 keys are used to send commands and 1 function key to request the automation’s status. Moreover, a series of optional accessories are available: string for keyring (Fig. 2); support for mounting (Fig. 3 ON3ELR, Fig. 4 ON3ELR/A). 2 - TRANSMITTER FUNCTIONS The two-way communication between the ON3ELR (ON3ELR/A) transmitter and the OXILR (OXILR/A) receiver has the following functions: • Sending of the receiver’s confirmation of the command received: sending to the transmitter of the confirmation that the command trans - mitted was received by the receiver. - Command received: the transmitter vibrates and the LED emits a series of orange flashes followed by a steady green light for 2 seconds. - Command not received: the transmitter LED emits a series of orange flashes followed by a steady red light for 2 seconds (there is no vibration). • Sending of the automation’s status (for exam - ple, whether the gate is open or closed): see Paragraph 5. • Indication of the automation’s anomaly status: flashing of the red LED and intermittent vibra - tion. 3 - TRANSMITTER VERIFICATION Before memorising the transmitter in the auto - mation’s receiver, ensure that it is working cor- rectly by pressing a control key while observing whether the LED (Fig. 1) lights up; should this not occur, see Paragraph 6. 4 - TRANSMITTER MEMORISATION To memorise the transmitter in a receiver, the fol - lowing procedures can be adopted: • Memorisation in “Mode 1” • Memorisation in “Mode 2” • Memorisation in “Extended Mode 2” • Memorisation through the “Enabling Code” received from a previously memorised trans - mitter These procedures are described in the instruc- tion manual of the receiver or control unit with which the transmitter must be operated. The above-mentioned manuals are also available on the website: www.niceforyou.com - For the procedures listed below only keys 1, 2, 3 of the transmitter are enabled (Fig. 1). The fourth key is exclusively reserved for the status request (Paragraph 5). A - Memorisation in “Mode 1” Allows for memorising in the receiver, once only, the 3 transmitter command keys, associating them automatically with each command man - aged from the control unit (default commands). B - Memorisation in “Mode 2” Allows for memorising in the receiver a single transmitter key, associating it with the commands managed from the control unit (maximum 4 and chosen by the user). Note – the same procedure must be repeated for each key to be memorised. C - Memorisation in “Extended Mode 2” The same as memorisation “B” - “Mode 2”, with the added possibility of choosing the desired command (to be paired with the key being memorised) in an extended list of commands managed from the control unit (up to 15 different commands). The feasibility of the procedure depends on the control unit’s ability to manage the 15 com - mands. D - Memorisation through the “ENABLING Code” (between an OLD transmitter already memorised and a NEW transmitter) The ON3ELR (ON3ELR/A) transmitter has a secret code, the so-called “ENABLING CODE”. By transferring this code from a memorised transmitter to a new transmitter, the latter is rec- ognised (and memorised) automatically by the receiver. Memorisation procedure for ON3ELR: 01. Bring the two transmitters (NEW and OLD one already memorised) close to one another as shown in Fig. 5. 02. On the NEW transmitter press and release a command key. The LED of the OLD transmit - ter will switch on and start flashing. 03. On the OLD transmitter press and release a command key. Once the code has been transferred, for an instant both the transmit- ters (NEW and OLD) will vibrate and their green LED will light up (end of the proce- dure). Memorisation procedure for ON3ELR/A: 01. On both transmitters (NEW and OLD) press and hold key “i” until the red LED lights up. 02. Release keys “i”; the LEDs will start flashing red. 03. Within 3 seconds, press and release key “i” again on the OLD transmitter; the LED will start flashing green. 04. On the OLD transmitter press and release a command key. Once the code has been transferred, for an instant both the transmit - ters (NEW and OLD) will vibrate and their green LED will light up (end of the proce - dure). When the NEW transmitter will be used, for the first 20 times it will transmit this “enabling code” to the receiver together with the command. The receiver will automatically memorise the identifi - cation code of the transmitter that transmitted it. 5 - STATUS REQUEST PROCEDURE 01. Press and release the “i” “Status request” key (Fig. 1). 02. Press and release the command key associ - ated with the automation for which the status is requested. 03. Observe the final colour of the LED after the series of orange flashes: • GREEN: gate/door OPEN • RED: gate/door CLOSED • ORANGE: partial opening/closing Note – If the transmitter is memorised in multiple automations and a status request is made, the ON3ELR (ON3ELR/A) will only signal the status of the automation that responded first to the status request or that falls within the transmitter range. NICE SPA PAG. 1 di 1 Overview The ON3ELR/A is a transmitter used to control automation of gates, garage doors and road barriers. When ON3ELR/A transmits a command, the bidirectional receiver recognizes it and transmits the confirmation that the command has been executed. On the bidirectional transmitter, the confirmation is indicated by the vibration. ON3ELR/A may also require the state of automation and indicates it with the colour of the Led. The transmitter operates on 915,75 MHz using LORA modulation and it’s powered with one CR2032 Lithium battery. Description of the product The circuit consists of: • A microcontroller U1 (R5F100AEASP) that implements the application functions and communication protocols. The internal oscillation clock is set to 8MHz. • A transceiver U3 (SX1276) that handles the radio channels with LORA modulation. An external 32MHz oscillator is used to generate the incoming clock signals. Matching components and filter are used between antenna and transceiver. • A bi-color LED to inform the user of the programming status and the states of automation. • Three control keys to transmit and un button to request the state of automations • A vibrating motor for confirmation that the command has been executed. • An NFC tag induction circuit (U2, C11, LA PCB) • PCB antenna • Max nominal output RF power: -1.14dBm • Peak gain loop antenna PCB: 0dBd • Loss and mismatching between SX1276PS and antenna: -10dB • Tune-up tolerance: -1.5dB / +0.5dB

Spreading Factor: SF=12 CR = 4/5 Timings When the button is pressed one time, ON3ELR/A is in transmission mode for about 231ms. Then ON3ELR/A goes in reception mode waiting feedback signal (same frequency and modulation). If the feedback from the associated receiver OXILR/A doesn’t arrive the transmitter return in transmission mode another time. At most three transmissions are possible. Below the times measured with a diode detector by pressing and releasing the key with the three possible transmission (without feedback).
