FCC ID: QA5-OAP-02002 After a review of the submitted information, I have a few comments on the above referenced Application. 1) FYI, the DoC is actually required because the DoC authorization applies to the device as a PC Peripheral, not as a receiver. Note that the scope of Part 15 only applies to receivers between 30-960 MHz. 2) Please provided information regarding the PCMCIA card integrated into this device. For instance, what is the manufacturer, model, FCC ID # (if applicable), etc. 3) Is the PCMCIA card unmodified/modified from the original approval (if applicable) or is this a special version being used strictly for this purpose? 4) The RF output specified in the users manual is 19 dBm, while the measured value was 14.2 dBm. Please comment and correct all affected exhibits. 5) The users manual states that the connector is an SMA., while the device does not appear to contain any SMA connectors. Please comment and correct any affected exhibits. 6) The users manual does not appear to contain the information specified by 15.21. Timothy R. Operational Description

FCC ID: QA5-OAP-02002 ADT No.911105R01 Operational Description The transmitter of the EUT is powered by POE (Power over Ethernet) and connected with managing computer through RJ45 port. The antenna type is Dipole antenna with Reversed TNC connector. Under normal use condition, the user has to keep at least 20cm separation distance between radiator and the body of the user. The other instruction, please have a look at the users manual. DSSS Information This device is Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum, the data is mixed by pseudorandom code which is an orthogonal code. The mixed data is digital modulated by BPSK and QPSK technique depends on the data rates. The CCK coding is applied for increasing the data rate, and also the processing gain will be increased. The bit rates are 1,2,5.5,11Mbps, the symbol rates are 1,1,1.375,1.375Mbps, the chip rates are always 11Mbps. So, the Chip/symbol is 11,11,8 and 8 respectively. Although is higher bit rate, the processing gain is lower than 10, but the CCK coding used in higher bit rate will provide 2.2dB coding gain.

Introduction 2.4GHz frequency band is regarded specially as a dangerous band for its heating harmfulness to the human body. That’s why microwave oven is operating in this frequency band. The manufacturer whose product is working in this frequency band is obligatory to prove the harmfulness of his product. In this document, we try to prove the safety of radiation harmfulness to the human body for our product. The limit for Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) specified in FCC 1.1310 is followed. The Gain of the antenna used in this product is measured in a Fully Anechoic Chamber (FAC), and the maximum total power input to the antenna is measured. Through the Friis transmission formula and the maximum gain of the antenna, we can calculate the distance, away from the product, where the limit of MPE is reached. 2. Classification The antenna of the product, under normal use condition, is at least 20cm away from the body of the user. Warning statement for keeping 20cm separation distance and the prohibition of operating next to a person has been printed on the user’s manual. So, this product is classified as the Mobile Device. 3.
