Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. Please note that the report should clearly identify if the power is composite power or per-channel power. The device appears to be per channel, but this must be clearly stated in the report. Please specify. 2. Please note that as this is not a part 15B Computer or computer peripheral the part 15B 2 condition statement does not apply. Please explain why the label has the 2-condition part 15B statement and please remove it from the label as it is not applicable. 3. Please note that your A2LA certificate number is incorrect. Please use the correct certificate number. 4. Please note that certification for part 22H must be done under the latest rules. Please note that it appears that you may be using an outdated version of Part 22. For example; there is no table as shown in table 9 of the test report in the latest Part 22.913. Also, except for the listed exclusions the maximum ERP for part 22 base stations and repeaters is 500W ERP. Please use the latest version of part 22H and please correct the report to reflect the requirements of the latest part 22H. You may view the latest Part 22 on the following website http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text/text- idx?c=ecfr&sid=d2fd0b7caa2349f2a087575118d5ccd2&rgn=div5&view=text&node=47:2.0.1.1.2&i dno=47#47:2.0.1.1.2.8.27.8. 5. Please note that the power listed on the 731 does not agree with the actual power measured. Please note that the maximum measured power per channel is about 22.4W but the 731 says 20W. Please note that while part 90 devices allow for the rated power to be listed on the grant, there is no such allowance under part 22H. Consequently the measured power is listed on the grant. Please correct all documentation to be consistent. 6. Please note that a tune up procedure needs to give a target value for power. This target value also needs to be within a reasonable tolerance form that measured in the test report. I do not find this target value in the provided tune up procedure. Please provide the target values for a properly tuned device. 7. Please note that CDMA Base Stations in the Part 22H service operate between 869.73MHz and 893.19MHz. Please note that band edge compliance then would have to be shown for the lowest and highest frequencies used in the device. Please note that while it appears you have used 869.73MHz for the low channel, you have not apparently used 893.19MHz to show compliance at the highest channel but in stead have used 887.9MHz. If this device only operates to 887.9MHz please correct all documentation to limit the upper frequency of operation. If on the other hand, the device operates at the range listed on the 731 (i.e. 869.13-893.19MHz) please provide adequate testing to show compliance at the upper band edge of 894MHz. 8.
