American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 March 6, 2007 RE: Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. FCC ID: QISC2008 I have a few comments on this Application. Depending on your responses, kindly understand there may be additional comments. 1.) Please indicate where I can find the required labeling of 15.19(a)(1). This rule specifies that... “Receivers associated with the operation of a licensed radio service, e.g., FM broadcast under part 73 of this chapter, land mobile operation under part 90, etc., shall bear the following statement in a conspicuous location on the device: This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the condition that this device does not cause harmful interference.” 2.) FYI: All Part 22H transceivers are required to show the power in terms of ERP. For this case the maximum measured ERP will be shown on the Grant of 0.201W. 3.) FYI: The correct equipment code for Part 22H only Cellphones is TNE. Only Part 24 PCS or Part 22/24 dual band phones receive the equipment code PCE. 4.) I see the Tune-Up procedure provides for a maximum power of +24.5dBm. However, I see nothing to indicate the target power tolerance during manufacturing. Kindly provide some indication as to the expected power variance to be expected during manufacturing. William H. Graff President and Director of Engineering mailto: [email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued. Please do not respond to this correspondence using the email reply button. In order for your response to be processed expeditiously, you must submit your documents through the AmericanTCB.com website. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted. Any questions about the content of this correspondence should be directed to the sender.
