Front View 1 Left function key Select the option displayed in the lower left corner of the screen. 2 Navigation keys Access the main menu by pressing the OK key in standby mode. Access a shortcut menu by pressing the corresponding navigation key in standby mode. Adjust the volume by pressing the navigation keys during a call. 3 Right function key Select the option displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. 4 End key End or reject a call. Press and hold this key to power the phone on or off. Return to the standby mode. 3 Screen Icons Signal strength Battery level Alarm clock Hands-free mode Call in progress No network available Unread message Unopened voicemail message Phone powered by the power adapter Roaming Installation (Optional) Installing a UIM Card Ensure that the phone is powered off and disconnected from the power adapter. When installing a User Identity Module (UIM) card, ensure that the golden contacts of the UIM card are facing downward and that the beveled edge of the UIM card is properly aligned with that of the UIM card slot. Then check that the UIM card is fully inserted. 5 Speaker key Activate the hands-free mode to dial a number already entered or answer an incoming call. 6 Call/Send key Make or answer a call. View the call log in standby mode. 7 Number and symbol keys Enter numbers, letters, and symbols. Number keys (1–9): Speed-dial a user-assigned phone number by pressing and holding a key in standby mode. # key: Switch between text input methods in editing mode. * key: Display the symbol list in editing mode. 4 Do not frequently remove the UIM card when using the phone. Installing the Battery Before using the phone, install the battery properly. When installing the battery, ensure that the phone is powered off and is disconnected from the power adapter; ensure that the golden contacts of the battery mate securely with those in the battery slot. If the phone will not be used for a long time, remove the battery from the phone. Charging the Battery When new phones are delivered, the battery power is low. 5 Therefore, charge the phone for a while and then power on the phone the first time you use it. When you use the phone, it is recommended that you connect the power adapter to the phone. When using the battery to power the phone, ensure that the battery power is sufficient. Powering On the Phone To power on the phone, press and hold the end key until the screen lights up. Press and hold the end key to power off the phone. Call Functions Making a Call 1. In standby mode, press the number keys to enter a phone number. 2. Press the call key to dial the number. 3. Press the end key to end the call or cancel the dialing. In standby mode, press the call key to view the call log. Find the desired number in the call log, and then press the call key dial the number. Find the desired number in the phonebook, and then press the call key to dial the number. Answering or Rejecting a Call When there is an incoming call, press the call key to answer the call; press the end key to reject the c…

SAR system validation Per KDB 865664D02v01r01, SAR system validation status and system verification results should be documented in a separate section of the SAR report, or as an attachment, to confirm measurement accuracy. SAR measurement systems are validated according to procedures in KDB 865664 (D01). While detailed system validation results are not required in the SAR report, the validation status should be documented according to the validation date(s), measurement frequencies, SAR probes and tissue dielectric parameters. When multiple SAR systems are used to test a device, the validation status of each SAR system must be documented separately according to the associated system components. System validation status should be documented in a tabulated summary.
