Getting to Know the ME906V  The ME906V module is 75 pin Gold Finger with a dimension of 42 mm × 30 mm × 2.3mm. It is applied to the user interface board, and can be used as a wireless terminal in a network environment. 2  Antenna interface It is used to connect and fix an antenna.  Fixing hole A screw, metal fastener, and nut are used to fix an ME906V module on a development board through this fixing hole.  Gold Finger It is connected to the M.2 connector on the development board. Note:  In certain cases, your development board may be disassembled only by the professionals.  Before you install the ME906V onto the development board, consult the development board manufacturer or read the user manual of the development board. 3 4 Assembly Through the M.2 connector Installation Guide Installing and Using an ME906V Module 1. Connect an antenna connector to the antenna interface of an ME906V. Note:  Insert the antenna connectors vertically into the antenna interfaces of the ME906V.  Do not pinch the antenna cable or damage the connectors. Otherwise, the wireless performance of the ME906V be reduced or the ME906V cannot work normally.  Ensure that the antenna is placed normally. 2. Fasten the the gold finger in the ME906V module to a M.2 connector of a development board to fix the ME906V module on the development board. 3. Place a metal fastener between the ME906V module and the development board. Put a screw through the fixing hole of the ME906V, metal fastener, and fixing hole of the development board in sequence. Then fasten a nut on the screw. 4. Insert a UIM card into the UIM card socket in the development board. 5 Removing an ME906V Module from a Development Board 1. Remove the UIM card from the UIM card socket. 2. Power off 3. Remove the screw on the ME906V module. 4. Remove the ME906V module from the development board. 5. Remove the antenna from the ME906V module.

Single Modular Approval. Output powers for GSM/GPRS/EDGE850, CDMA BC0 and UMTS Band V are ERP, for GSM/GPRS/EDGE1900, CDMA BC1, UMTS Bands II, IV, and LTE Bands 2, 4, 5, 13, 17 are EIRP. This device is to be used in mobile or fixed applications only. Antenna gain including cable loss must not exceed 2.5 dBi in all the grant listed bands, for the purpose of satisfying the requirements of 2.1043 and 2.1091. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any antenna or transmitter not described under this FCC ID. The final product operating with this transmitter must include operating instructions and antenna installation instructions, for end-users and installers to satisfy RF exposure compliance requirements. Compliance of this device in all final product configurations is the responsibility of the Grantee. Installation of this device into specific final products may require the submission of a Class II permissive change application containing data pertinent to RF Exposure, spurious emissions, ERP/EIRP and host/module authentication or a new application if appropriate. This device contains GSM functions that are not operational in the U.S. Territories. This filing is only applicable for U.S. operations.
