CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PURCHASE OF THE iJET WIRELESS RF REMOTE CONTROL The iJet was designed to provide maximum control of your iPod from anywhere you choose to place it regardless of whether it is in your backpack or over a hundred feet away in a different room connected to your home stereo. Operation iPod RF receiver setup: (FIG 1) Plug the iJet into the dock connector located on bottom of your iPod. Please WAIT 30 seconds for the automatic self- diagnostic to run. Plug in your earbuds, speakers or connect to your home stereo through a set of RCA jacks (supplied in some iJet kits). To sync or charge the iPod, simply plug your USB/Firewire or charging device into the bottom of the iJet while it’s connected to the iPod. Advanced Low Power Mode (ALPM): The iJet uses an advanced power down mode which minimizes current draw on your iPod battery if you are not connected to a constant power source. After 20 minutes of sensing no music playing or no remote commands being sent, the iJet goes into a battery saving mode. The iJet receiver will automatically re-power itself when it detects music playing or a remote button being pressed for more than 0.6 seconds. Remote Control Functions Features β€’ Pass-through 30-pin connector allows charge/sync. β€’ Thin profile (only 0.55”). β€’ Up to 150 ft range. β€’ Supports iPod with dock connector from 3 rd Gen forward. Optional iJet Accessories iJet Remote: Pair up to 10 iJet remotes with any iJet receiver. Place an iJet remote in each bedroom, out by pool or anywhere you choose to control your music. Pairing instructions : 1) Unplug iJet receiver from your iPod. 2) Make sure your iPod is sufficiently charged. 3) Plug the iJet receiver into the iPod dock connector. 4) Within 30 seconds of step 3, press and hold all four buttons simultaneously on the new remote for three seconds (Vol. +, Vol. -, FF, RW), release after three seconds. 5) The new remote has been paired. Rewind: Press and release this button to move track BACKWARDS. Press and HOLD this button to rewind through the track Volume Down: Press and HOLD this button to scroll volume down. Forward: Press and release this button to move track FORWARD. Press and HOLD this button to forward through the track. Volume Up: Press and HOLD this button to scroll volume up . Play/Pause/Sleep: Press and release to toggle between Pause and Play.* Press and HOLD for 2 full seconds to put the iPod into sleep mode. If you press and hold this button for longer than 1 second but less than 2 seconds, the iJet will ignore your request.

Operational Description

Operational Description The iJetV2 is a low powered, which is installed in micro controller integrated with transmitter function for wireless play iPod . See the function descriptions in attached. The transmitter is powered by a 3 volt battery. It is designed to operate on a single fixed frequency at 433.92 MHz. See the attached block diagram and schematic. There are 5 switches trigger the integrated circuit (U1) which produces the digital control signals and will modulate the carrier signal (ASK). The carrier signal is generated by a I C oscillator/amplifier circuit comprised of a 433.92 MHz SAW(X1) . The modulated output of the RF stage is coupled to the loop antenna. The antenna is on-board track, around 80mm. The iJet is operated by the triggered momentarily within 0.2 second and will automatically deactivate send signal to receiver. This feature is incorporated by the U1 internally. All tuning and verification are performed by the manufacturer and there are no adjustments can be made by users.
