WS4979 12 Channel Wireless Key Congratulations on the purchase of t he WS4979, the industries first 12 channel remote control. This key will allow you to arm and disarm as well as control keypad functions, open and close garage doors and securi ty gates or virtually any remote function you can think of. This is the perfect remote to add to DSC’s new garage relay module with integrated laser parking (PC-5650) to control anything that can be turned ON or OFF. Section 1. How to Enroll the WS4979 To enroll channels 1-4, use the 6 digit serial number printed on the back of the WS4979. To enroll channels 5-8 add β€˜1’ to the serial number and for channels 9-12 add β€˜2’ to the serial number. For example if the serial number printed in the back of the remote is 612345. 612345 Channel 1-4 (Buttons 1-4 on the front) 612346 Channel 5-8 (Level shift to GREEN LED and use buttons 1-4 on the front) 612347 Channel 9-12 (Level shift to AMBER LED and use buttons 1-4 on the front) * If you are using the WS4979 with a DSC relay module (PC-5650) to interface with garage doors, security gates or lighting c ontrols, you do not need to enroll the serial number since it is a code learning sy stem. Refer to the PC-5650 manual Section 2. Operation of the WS4979 The small center button on the WS4979 is used as a level shift to move from channels 1-4 to 5-8 and 9-12. 1) Press and hold the center button of the WS4979 2) Watch as the LED on the WS4979 changes from green to amber and back to red. The RED LED indicates channels 1-4, the GREEN LED indicates channels 5-8 and the AMBER indicates channels 9-12*. 3) When you see the appropriate color LED release the center button. The LED will pulsate that color to indicate that you are in the appropriate channels. Press one of the four buttons and the LED will stop flashing and will default back to channels 1-4. * NOTE: The WS4979 always defaults to channels 1-4 so it is NOT necessary to hold the center button to access channels 1-4. If you are in Channels 5-8 or 9-12 the unit will β€˜time out’ after 5 seconds if no buttons are pressed. Compatibility: The WS4979 is compatible with the following receivers: PC5650, PC4164-433, PC5132-433, RF5108-433, RF5501-433, NT9005 and NT9010. ADD the replacing batteries section, bel t clip assembly and mounting and warranty section of the WS4939 which I have attached as PDF’s. Section 3: Additional Notes The WS4979 Wireless Key requires TWO CR2025 lithium batteries. Replacing batteries 1) Open the case by inserting a coin or a flat head screw driver at the base and carefully twist the screwdriver to separate the top and bottom plastic. 2) Using a #1 Phillips screw driver, remove the screw that holds the circuit board to the back of the case. The screw is in the center of the circuit board. 3) Insert a small flat head screwdriver at the base of the board and carefully lift it up. 4) Note the polarity of the battery as etched into the bottom side of the case. Improper handling of lithium batteries may result in heat gener ation, explosion or fire, which may lead to personal injuries. WARNING: Danger of explosion if batteries ar e installed incorrectly, Replace ONLY with Panasonic or Toshiba CR2025 Batteries . Keep away from small children. If batteries are swallowed, promptly see a doc tor. Do not try to recharge batteries. Disposal of used batteries must be made in accordance with waste recovery and recycling regulations in your area. IC: 4676A-EV433P The term β€˜IC:’ before the radio certification number only signifies that Industry Canada Technical specifications were met. Section 4: Miscellaneous Uses4.1 Wall or Under Counter MountThe included wall/under counter enclosure is useful for a multitude of applications. It is perfectfor a medical panic with mounting next to showers, beds or counters. Excellent for commercialuse as an under desk/counter panic button. Wall or Desk Mount Remote Snaps In 4.2 Belt ClipThe included belt/visor clip is excellent for wireless β€˜on the go’ applications like keyless entry forgarage doors, electric strikes or even jewelry store panic buttons that are kept on the person. Please make necessary duty cycle correction factor and change associated reading in the tabular data. <answer>pls see revised report Question #3: Please change the tabular data format to include peak and average limits. <answer>pls see revised report Question #4: Based upon tabular test data contains in the test report, some of unwanted emission field strength are higher than fundamental emission which is not allowed per section 15.215(b) of FCC rules. Please address this non-compliance issue. <answer>pls see revised report Question #5: What is the approval status of associated receiver that will be used with this transmitter ? If it is complied with FCC DoC procedure, please provide the model name and brand name. If it is complied with FCC equipment authorization procedures, please provide FCC ID number. <answer>The user manual indicates that "The WS4979 is compatible with the following receivers: PC5650, PC4164-433, PC5132- 433, RF5108-433, RF5501-433, NT9005 and NT9010. Operational Description

EV-F12CHAN transmitter Operational Description The EV-F12CHAN transmitter is a low powered, hand held unit for remote controlling the home security and other features. See the function descriptions in attached. The transmitter is powered by a 6 volt battery. It is designed to operate on a single fixed frequency at 433.92 MHz. See the attached block diagram and schematic. There are 4 buttons trigger the integrated circuit (U1) which produces the digital control signals and will modulate the carrier signal (ASK). The carrier signal is generated by a S.A.W oscillator/amplifier circuit comprised of a 433.92 MHz crystal (X1) and npn transmitter (Q1). The modulated output of the RF stage is coupled to the strip antenna. The strip antenna is attached on PCB around 60mm. The transmitter is manually operated by the buttons pushed momentarily within 0.2 second and will automatically deactivate send signal to receiver. This feature is incorporated by the U1 internally. All tuning and verification are performed by the manufacture and there are no adjustments can be made by user.
