No. 1.2, 9.9.2010 2 SUMMARY GENERAL REMARKS: The EuT is battery powered. After each measurement the battery voltage was checked via Multimeter. After the third measurement the battery was replaced by a new one. To activate the test mode of the RTR-322 unit it is necessary to hold continually switch 1 and then connecting the power (inserting a battery). The conducted tests were performed with a modified test sample with antenna connector cable. The radiated tests were performed with an original sample. The EuT is declared as Class B digital device. The EUT is connected via suitable attenuator at the spectrum analyser. The measurement is repeated for every different modulation standard of the EUT and recorded. No. 1.0, 26.1.2011 5.6.3 Applicable standard According to RSS-Gen, 7.2.2: Restricted bands, identified in Table 1, are designated primarily for safety-of-life services (distress calling and certain aeronautical bands), certain satellite downlinks, radio astronomy and some government uses. Except where otherwise indicated, the following restrictions apply: (a) fundamental components of modulation of licence-exempt radio apparatus shall not fall within the restricted bands of Table 1; (b) unwanted emissions falling into restricted bands of Table 1 shall comply with the limits specified in RSS-Gen; (c) unwanted emissions not falling within restricted frequency bands shall either comply with the limits specified in the applicable RSS, or with those specified in RSS-Gen. 5.6.4 Description of Measurement The measurement is performed radiated. For testing above 1 GHz, if the emission level of the EUT in peak mode complies with the average limit is 20 dB lower, then testing will be stopped and peak values of the EUT will be reported, otherwise, the emission will be measured in average mode again and reported. 5.6.4.1 Radiated emission test f < 1 GHz In the frequency range from 9 kHz to 30 MHz no radiated emissions could be measured. In the frequency range from 30 MHz up to 1 GHz no radiated emissions could be measured.
