Contents Introduction 2 ⿠ Because the FOMA terminal uses a radio wave, you cannot use it in places where the radio wave do not reach, where it is weak even outdoors, or where are out-of-service area, such as inside tunnels, basements, or buildings. You might not be able to operate the FOMA terminal even when you are in a place with a fi ne view such as in a high-rise building or apartment. Note that you may experience interruption of calls even if the three antennas respond to a strong radio wave, and you remain without moving to use the FOMA terminal. ⿠ Use the FOMA terminal carefully to avoid disturbing other people when in public, or in crowded or quiet places. ⿠ Since the FOMA terminal uses radio waves as the medium of telecommunication, calls may be tapped by a third party. However, the W-CDMA system automatically supports tapping prevention, so your conversation will be incomprehensible to the third party, because it is recognized as mere noise. ⿠ The FOMA terminals change your voice into digital signals and send them to the other party. In places where the radio waves are weak, the digital signals may not be converted correctly, and in such a case, the voice may sound different from the actual one. ⿠ The user hereby agrees that the user shall be solely responsible for the result of the use of SSL/TLS.
